How antimicrobial works
This is achieved by treating the fabric with the latest proprietary chemicals [Permanent Coating Technology into the fibers of the fabric] that inhibit the growth of pathogens and using yarns that are specially designed to provide inbuilt microscopic antibacterial functionality. By combining these properties, the yarns help stop microbes from developing, while simultaneously promoting moisture flows, thereby maximizing comfort and extending the life of the fabric.
PerX is specially designed with extra parts [longer neck area to cover the nose] to block raindrops, wind, dust, and airborne particles & substances. The hood and hem feature a drawstring design, along with Velcro cuffs that tighten and keep users extra secure in any conditions. for us, the PerX idea is indeed a brilliant one that originally came from George, who's the CMO as well as a bike commuter. He wears performance jackets all year round! The idea really is a breakthrough in the industry, because every player seems ONLY interested in performance figures i.e. wp/mp. However, thanks to PerX, we are now thinking in a totally different way to diversify the applications of TPU technology.
At TPUX, we are a group of
designers and sports enthusiasts with the same passion for performance jackets.
The TPU (membrane) is actually the iconic part of any performance jacket, while
the X will be any products created. Our goal is to create the best and most
affordable performance jacket with our TPU / PTFE, coating and textile
technology, while also trying to integrate membrane and lamination technology
into many other types of clothes such as denim jackets and hoodies etc.
As a professional textile the company, we constantly work toward technological innovation and continually
strive to offer top quality products at better prices in order to be the best
partner offering all kinds of laminated and functional fabrics. Founded in 2000,
we have come a long way from doing simple lamination in our early days to now
being almost vertical, even extruding our own waterproof breathable membranes
allowing us to have control over the whole process and to be able to price down
many of the products we offer.
We've launched various kinds of
waterproof vapor permeable, and breathable products, such as TPU, Fallex,
Hytrell, PU, PE, PP, and PTFE, which can then be bonded with knits, wovens and
non-wovens. Although we specialize in outdoor garments, our products are
also commonly used in shoe materials, rain coats, military uniforms,
pharmaceutical industry, gloves, hats, and even bags and other accessories.

Coronavirus and its potential
impact on manufacturing and delivery: Our supply chain passes through multiple
countries to make its way to you, our backers. It’s difficult to know the
extent and impact that the continued spread of Coronavirus will have at this
point, but our factory and fulfillment processes are susceptible to
interruption, just as the rest of the world is. As of May 2020, our
manufacturing partner’s team in China is in good health and happily at work.
Also, international shipping is another potential risk that backers and us have
to take into consideration. We guarantee global free shipping according to a
price agreement with our couriers. However, if, by any chance, the pandemic
gets out of control and hugely impacts future shipping costs, we will have no
choice but to wait until the price goes back down to within our budget range.
